Ezekiel 22:31
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 22:31 was spoken to Judah in its continuing apostasy, at a time when the people were profaning God's Sabbaths and the priests were disregarding them. For those sins, including the profaning of the Sabbath, it declares that God poured out His indignation upon them, consumed them with the fire of His wrath, and recompensed their own way upon their heads. That outpoured judgment brought upon them the Babylonian captivity.
