Ezekiel 31:11
I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness. Assyria was delivered into the hand of a powerful ruler of the nations and thrust out of its place on account of its wickedness. Its pride and cruelty brought about its overthrow, which was executed through fierce and ruthless peoples raised up against it. Its utter ruin was appointed as a lesson to all other kingdoms, that none should lift themselves up in self-exaltation lest they fall likewise.
