Ezekiel 38:7
Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
The command is directed to Gog to get himself ready and to make ready for himself, and to stand as a guard over the whole host gathered to him. Taken with the verse that follows, it belongs to the latter years and to the time after many days when Gog is visited and advances against the mountains of Israel. The land then in view is one brought back from war, whose people have been gathered out of many peoples and led forth out of the nations to live together in safety. That gathering work is now being done in foreign countries and is moving forward in a remarkable manner.
