Ezekiel 7:13
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
The verse marks the sword, famine, pestilence, and confusion that are to fall upon the land in the time of trouble. These are judgments upon the whole multitude of the wicked, from which there is no return to former security or possessions. In that distress the wicked will charge God's people with bringing down the calamities upon the land. That blame is mistaken, for the judgments come as the fulfillment of the vision against iniquity, not through the faithfulness of the saints.
