Isaiah 64:11

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

The holy and beautiful house is the temple where earlier generations praised God, and it is burned up with fire while all the pleasant and cherished places of the city are laid waste. This applies to the destruction of Jerusalem foreseen from the Mount of Olives, when enemy armies would burn the temple and leave ruins in its place.

The verse belongs to the words in Isaiah 62-65, including Isaiah 64, that speak to the people and confront them decisively. It calls for heeding God's words and for reformation through stopping complaint and evil doing and evil work. Receiving those words and turning from evil is linked with the Lord manifesting His power in the conviction and conversion of souls.
