Job 6:3

For now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea: therefore my words are swallowed up.

Job asks that his grief and his calamity be laid together in the balances to be weighed. He insists that their combined burden is heavier than the sand of the sea. The overwhelming weight of that suffering causes his words to fail and to be swallowed up.
