Joshua 13:32 belongs to the account in Joshua 13 to 22 of Israel's inheritance and the distribution of the land among the tribes. It states that Moses distributed for inheritance the countries in the plains of Moab on the other side of the Jordan by Jericho, eastward. The distribution account was drawn from written documents in which the property was accurately described. Joshua's work included dividing the land and leading Israel toward the promised rest.
