Joshua 2:18
Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.
Joshua 2:18 belongs to the account of Rahab, a Canaanite who turned away from idolatry to worship the true God and joined Himself to His chosen people. Her change was not merely inward belief but a decisive break with her former gods and a full alignment with Israel and its God. Her story stands as proof that those from other nations who made such a turn to God were welcomed among Israel rather than shut out.
