Lamentations 4:14

They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.

The verse portrays Jerusalem's leaders wandering through the streets as blind men, morally unable to discern their path. Their blindness is joined to defilement by bloodshed, showing guilt for violence and corruption staining their conduct. That guilt made them so unclean that others could not touch their garments without being defiled.
