Man Falls into the Pit He Dugby emmanuel_higgins

Proverbs 26:27

Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

Whoever lays plans to injure or take advantage of another brings that injury back upon himself. Trouble plotted against others becomes the plotter's own trouble. Exploitation does not secure gain but recoils to harm the one who devised it.

In business and financial dealings this recoil guards the rights of others. Oppressing the poor and seizing what belongs to the fatherless violates those rights. Such violation destroys the security of property and of society itself.

The principle was seen when Woolsey dug a pit for Jones and Lunt. The pit he meant for them became his own through his financial collapse.
