Psalms 105:25

He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

The verse is set at the time when Israel had become numerous and strong in Egypt, and that growth gave rise to hostility against them. God turned the hearts of the Egyptians to hate His people and to deal deceitfully and oppressively with His servants. This hatred and subtle, oppressive dealing came before He sent Moses and Aaron with signs and plagues to bring His people out.

The verse belongs to the recorded history of Israel that calls readers to consider God's goodness, mercy, and love. That account of Israel's experience provides warning lessons for God's people in the last days and should be studied regularly. Together with Psalm 106, Psalm 105 records Israel's wilderness experience as a warning and example for God's people in the last days, and should be studied regularly.
