Psalms 37:40
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
The Lord pledges aid and rescue to people who put their confidence in Him, freeing them from evildoers and granting them salvation because of that trust. He is the strength of the righteous when distress comes and their ever-present help in seasons of trouble. That present help extends to the trials met by those who take their stand for His work. Those who trust God in this way emerge more than conquerors.
