That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
The verse is a resolve to declare all of God's praise openly in Zion and to rejoice in His salvation. It makes public praise the purpose of deliverance, so that gratitude is shown forth rather than kept private. That showing forth belongs in the gates of the daughter of Zion, the appointed place of testimony and worship.
Those gates are the entrance for the redeemed when Christ reigns in Jerusalem. Entering there is joined to praising there, so arrival and adoration are one act. This praise unfolds in the setting of God's righteous judgment, which gives refuge to the oppressed and brings judgment upon the wicked.
