Angel With Seven Thunders Above Worship and Eastern Campsby KandD

Revelation 10:4

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

The vision stands with the angel with one foot on the sea and the other on the land, which means the message about the time of the advent of the Lord was to have wide extent, crossing the broad waters to be proclaimed in other countries, even to all the world. The eating of the little book in the same vision means the comprehension of truth and the glad reception of that message, for the truth about the time of the advent was a precious message to the soul. John heard the mysteries uttered by the seven thunders and was about to write them, but a voice from heaven, Jesus Christ, commanded him to seal up what they uttered and not write them. The injunction to John is the same as that given to Daniel to seal the little book.

What the seven thunders uttered relates to future events to be disclosed in their order. The special light expressed in the seven thunders was a delineation of events that would transpire under the first and second angels' messages. That light was withheld because it was not best for the people to know these things then, for their faith must necessarily be tested, and in the order of God no further light was to be revealed before the first and second angels' messages had done their specific work.

After those messages had done their work, most wonderful and advanced truths would be proclaimed. When John sees the little book unsealed, with Daniel standing in his lot at the end of the days, Daniel's prophecies have their proper place in the first, second, and third angels' messages to the world, and that unsealing is the message in relation to time.
