A Couple Walk Through a Garden and VineyardBibleWorld
7:11Song of Solomon 7:11
Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
The verse is a call to go forth out into the country. That call reflects what the Creator chose for Adam and Eve as the life best adapted for health and happiness. It means life lived in close touch with nature and in close communion with the holy ones of heaven. It does not mean palace life surrounded by artificial adornments and luxuries that many struggle to obtain.
